New details are emerging as the investigation into the disappearance of "Today" show host Savannah Guthrie's 84-year-old mom continues.
TMZ and CBS affiliate KOLD News have revealed that their newsrooms have received Nancy Guthrie ransom notes, which are currently unverified, as the FBI works with local Arizona law enforcement on the search.
"We don't know where she is," Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said in a press conference Tuesday.
Investigators believe Nancy Guthrie, who has limited mobility, "was taken" from her home outside Tucson, Arizona, after receiving a 911 call reporting she was missing Sunday.

JUST IN: The man convicted of attempting to kill President Donald Trump while he played golf in Southern Florida in 2024, has been sentenced to life in prison.
Ryan Wesley Routh, 59, was found guilty on Sept. 15, 2024 of attempting to assassinate the then presidential nominee at one of his golf courses in West Palm Beach.
A federal jury on Sept. 23, found Routh guilty of trying to kill the then presidential nominee at Trump International Golf Club. A Secret Service agent spotted the gun and shot at Routh chasing him off.

BREAKING: #PresidentTrump signed legislation passed by the House of Representatives on Tuesday to end the partial government shutdown, bringing a relatively swift resolution to a brief funding lapse caused by widespread concern with federal immigration enforcement since Alex Pretti's killing.
“We’ve succeeded in passing a fiscally responsible package that actually cuts wasteful federal spending while supporting critical programs for the safety, security and prosperity of the American people,” Trump said during an Oval Office ceremony as Republican members of Congress stood behind him.
